Presenters:
Jason Strano, CEM, CLEP Jason is a Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant with Eversource based out of the Berlin, CT office specializing in the Industrial and Manufacturing segment. Before his time at Eversource, he was working as a manufacturer’s representative specializing in energy and advanced lighting controls. Jason has also run energy programs for several ESCOs and began his career performing investment grade audits for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and lighting and energy work throughout the Northeast from Maine to Virginia. He has been working in the energy efficiency trade for over almost two decades and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP), and trained energy auditing specialist. Jason is Vice President of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) chapter in CT and is also a board member with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
Charlie Lovejoy is an Energy Efficiency Consultant on the Commercial & Industrial New Construction team in Connecticut. He spent five years as a biology & environmental science teacher and Sustainability Coordinator at the Frederick Gunn School. He has since transitioned to the energy efficiency industry and utilizes his teaching skills to educate customers on the benefits of incorporating energy conservation measures into their projects. Charlie is proud of Eversource’s nation-leading programs and passionately works to accelerate electrification of the Connecticut market by encouraging a whole-building approach that begins in the early phases of design. Charlie holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Skidmore College and a Master of Science degree in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of Connecticut. He is accredited as an Energy Manger in Training by the Association of Energy Engineers and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction by GBCI.
